The purpose of this Golden LEAF grant is to support the development of the medical pavilion that is part of a downtown, multi-use, redevelopment project in Edgecombe County. The project, a collaborative effort between the City of Rocky Mount, Rocky Mount Edgecombe CDC, Nash Healthcare Systems and private doctors, would bring an internal medicine and a pediatric practice to the area and result in the creation of six jobs.
