Description:

The purpose of this grant is to provide funding to Caldwell Memorial Hospital (‘CMH’) for equipment to support expansion of its cancer center, which will offer more comprehensive care, planning, laboratory and treatment locally. The facility will allow CMH to treat twice as many patients in the same number of work hours, and allow patients and families to remain in the county for treatment thereby reducing their travel costs and minimizing work disruptions. CMH will create eight new jobs at the cancer center.
