Description:

This Community Assistance Initiative grant is focused on improving the condition of the Martin Luther King Boulevard Corridor in order to create curb appeal, increase community morale and set the stage for new jobs and investment. The Corridor is one of the primary thoroughfares into Kinston. A Livable Community workshop will be offered to residents to build community engagement, leadership and capacity. This project will leverage over $450,000 in funds from NCDOT.
