The purpose of this Golden LEAF grant is to provide a portion of matching funds that the North Carolina New Schools Project, Inc. (NCNSP) is required to raise to secure a $15 million grant from the US Department of Education Investing in Innovation (I3) grant program. The I3 project will allow the NCNSP to scale early college high school strategies and best practices in 15-20 high schools in up to ten low-wealth counties in North Carolina.
