Description:

The purpose of this grant is to provide funding for a program in five Richmond County schools that teaches students about 3D modeling skills and STEM career opportunities. Richmond County Schools, with the support of private partners, will use an innovative approach to provide teachers and students the ability to use 2D and 3D modeling in a variety of classes and contexts. The project builds on a pilot 3-D modeling program initiated at Richmond High School. Golden LEAF support is for equipment, supplies, travel, and evaluation.
