Description:

This award provides funding to Lenoir County to extend water and sewer infrastructure along Smithfield Way and Hill Farm Road in the Highway 70 Industrial Park. The county anticipates that the project will result in up to $4.5 million in public infrastructure investment, $140 million in private capital investment, and the creation of 500 new jobs with an average annual salary of $50,000.
