Description:

The purpose of this grant is to assist Harnett County with water and sewer infrastructure for the Brightwater Science and Technology Campus. The park is a 128-acre facility, anchored by a new $50.6 million hospital to be constructed by Harnett Health Systems. The hospital will create 100 new jobs. This long-term project is expected eventually to result in the creation of 500 total new jobs and $126 million private investment.
