Description:

The purpose of this grant is to assist Halifax County with the clearing, site preparation and construction of an access road for the county-owned Halifax Corporate Park located adjacent to the new Halifax-Northampton Regional Airport. The NCDOT has agreed to construct the drainage and road improvements along Highway 561 if the County removes the trees. Halifax County is in the process of securing $3.2 million in federal and state funding to extend a regional sewer line to serve the new park
