Golden LEAF funds will be used to support short-term training opportunities in green construction and weatherization improvement and renovation techniques. The College has identified strong demand from local contractors for workers with these skills in the region. Demand is driven in part by BRAC-related growth in the area. Golden LEAF funds will leverage Jobs Now and WIA funding that is also being directed to these training opportunities.
