The purpose of this grant is to design and implement a comprehensive and inclusive evaluation plan of the STEM initiatives funded by the Foundation. The evaluation team, a partnership between SERVE Center, NCSU’s Friday Institute, and UNC Chapel Hill’s Carolina Institute for Public Policy, will work closely with Golden LEAF and the grantees to create a comprehensive scope of work that will result in a list of outcomes that address increased capacity at the school and district level to use data for educational improvement and decision making. Provide an overview of the effectiveness of the STEM grants in achieving stated program criteria.
