Description:

This Golden LEAF grant will provide continued support to the North Carolina Community College System for scholarships for tuition, fees and other related costs for at least 200 eligible students attending any of North Carolina’s 58 community colleges. Eligible students will be those who reside in a rural county that is tobacco-dependent and/or Tier 1 or Tier 2 economically distressed and demonstrate need according to federal standards.
