Description:

The purpose of this grant is to provide continuing support to the NCSEAA for the Golden LEAF scholars program. This grant will provide annual $3,000 scholarships ($12,000 over four years) to up to 215 freshmen or community college transfer recipients and continue support of approximately 569 renewal scholars. Scholarship recipients must demonstrate financial need and be from a rural county that is economically distressed or tobacco dependent.
