The purpose of this grant request is to provide funding to UNC-GA for the final year of support for the former Golden LEAF scholars program. This grant will support scholars that received awards under the prior Golden LEAF scholarship program that supported students enrolled at UNC campuses. Golden LEAF support is for 105 renewal students who are rising seniors. UNC-GA will confirm enrollment status and base the fall and spring semester funding requests on actual enrollment. Recipients who continue to meet program eligibility requirements will receive a $3,000.00 scholarship for the school year. Funds from unused slots will be returned to the Foundation. All scholarship recipients agree to release their contact information for follow up and evaluation by Golden LEAF.
