Description:

This Golden LEAF grant will support the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) as it implements a leadership development program for 245 Golden LEAF Scholarship recipients. The program will support 150 incoming freshmen scholars and 95 sophomore scholars. The sophomore scholars participated in the inaugural year of the program as freshmen. CCL will develop a comprehensive evaluation of the overall program. The goal of the program is to develop leadership capacity of Golden LEAF scholars, expose them to opportunities in rural, economically distressed communities, and encourage them to return to those communities after graduation from college.
