Description:

The pump station located off Hillandale Road is the main receiving station from the northeast side of Fremont. This critical piece of infrastructure transports sewage to Fremont’s wastewater treatment lagoons or to a collection station where it is pumped to the City of Goldsboro. Saturated soil conditions following Hurricane Matthew caused the building to settle approximately two inches. This grant will enable Fremont to replace the damaged infrastructure with a new submersible pump station.
