Description:

The focus of this grant is to create a training initiative between Vance-Granville Community College and NC State University that will train potential employees for jobs at a technology company looking to locate its east coast headquarters in Franklin County. The project will assist with efforts to attract the corporation to the area with an employee requirement of 2,875 jobs (retaining 575 jobs and attracting 2,300 additional jobs).
