Description:

The purpose of this grant is to provide funding to Elizabeth City Middle School (ECMS) for devices and associated hardware/software to create a digital learning technology program to close the digital divide for economically disadvantaged/rural students. ECMS will provide a platform for students to have personalized learning experiences resulting in greater attendance and engagement by students and better educational outcomes. ECMS will also provide the teaching staff with extensive professional development. ECMS will serve as a digital model school for Elizabeth City Pasquotank Public Schools in its plans to become a 1:1 technology district.
