Description:

This grant will support a collaborative effort by three economic development regions in eastern NC to develop a strategic plan for promoting NC’s Hwy 17 corridor as a tourism destination and to pursue a Federal Heritage Designation for the region. The project will also develop a database of sites in the region that can also be used in other tourism-related efforts.
