Description:

The purpose of this Golden LEAF grant is to support continued work by North Carolina State University to meet growing demand for North Carolina-grown lettuce by researching the best performing lettuce cultivars, establishing schedules for transplanting and direct seedings, and analyzing issues related to nutrition, diseases control and pests.
