Description:

The purpose of this Golden LEAF grant is to support construction of a 4,800 sq. ft. workforce training facility to replace an inadequate welding room and provide space for several identified training needs. The facility will be located at Bartlett Yancey High School and serve as a shared use facility for the Caswell County Schools and Piedmont Community College. The facility will include a state-of-the-art welding lab/classroom. Golden LEAF funds will be used for construction.
