The purpose of this Golden LEAF grant is to The purpose of this Golden LEAF grant is to continue support for the Carolina Commerce and Technology Center (COMtech) in their efforts to create a training center to provide capacity and workforce development programs to attract and incubate new business and industry for this economically distressed area. COMtech provides business outreach services and technical assistance to new and existing business owners to spur commercial, retail, and agricultural business activity in Bladen, Columbus, Cumberland, Hoke, Robeson and Scotland counties.
