This grant will assist the Burke County EDC with making improvements to an 80-acre industrial park to create, retain, and/or expand approximately 600 jobs over 3 years. Golden LEAF funds will be used in conjunction with the EDC’s current infrastructure fund of $557,000 to make needed improvements to the park, making it more marketable.
