Description:

The purpose of this grant is to provide funds to the North Carolina Biotechnology Center for a new Biotech Crop Commercialization Center. The Center will help commercialize and in some cases develop new crops that will benefit both North Carolina farmers that grow the crops and area farmers that use the crops for animal feed. Golden LEAF funds will be used for personnel and start-up expenses.
