This grant will assist the Town of Bear Grass with expanding programs offered at The Bear Grass School, which was closed due to consolidation in 2009. Programs to be offered include: mentoring and tutoring in conjunction with Martin County Schools; job training and continuing education in partnership with Martin Community College to increase marketable skills and employability; exercise, nutrition, health education and mini clinics for seniors.
