Description:

The purpose of this grant is to provide funds to the Wanchese Seafood Industrial Park (WSIP), a state-owned industrial park, to relocate administrative buildings so one of its tenants, Bayliss Boatworks, can increase its business. Since beginning operations in 2002, Bayliss Boatworks has been able to continuously expand its facilities but is now out of yard storage and facility space. Making this additional space available will allow Bayliss to lease additional parcels and expand its operations, creating an additional ten jobs in three to five years.
