Description:

This Golden LEAF grant will support Ashe Memorial Hospital as it converts to Critical Access Hospital designation and implements other revenue generating strategies. This Critical Access Hospital designation ensures reimbursement for services at cost from Medicare and Medicaid, which will significantly reduce the loss of revenue and enable the hospital to sustain community medical services that are currently at risk. The project will retain 314 high-paying jobs in the community and generate operating efficiencies and increased revenue that will help the Hospital continue successful operations into the future.
