Description:

The purpose of this Golden LEAF grant is to assist the Rural Center, in collaboration with the Albemarle Pamlico Economic Development Commission, with implementing the Eastern North Carolina E-Learning project, which will provide a seamless K-20 asynchronous e-learning environment for selected locations in the eastern part of NC. The project is part of a $13.1 million initiative that will bring broadband access to more than 32,000 customers that do not currently have DSL capability.
