Description:

The purpose of this grant is to provide funding to ASU to expand chemical analysis and educational services to North Carolina wineries and vineyards. Funding will allow the University to provide chemical and sensory analysis of wine and grape samples and provide feedback to the wine industry and individual growers with the goal of improving the overall quality of North Carolina wines and increasing the economic benefit of the industry and to North Carolina. The program will become self-sustaining over time by implementing a fee for service model.
