The purpose of this grant is to provide funding to Clay County Schools for the expansion of its Health Occupations course of study which currently has a waiting list of students who wish to enter the program. With successful completion of this curriculum, students can graduate from high school with a CNA certification that will enable them to enter directly into the workforce or continue their education. Golden LEAF funds will be used to help add a teaching position to the program, and provide for travel, a portable classroom, supplies, computers, professional development and equipment.
Any project more than a couple of years old may not reflect current Board priorities.
