The purpose of this grant is to support Perquimans County Schools with the implementation of a digital learning initiative to improve teaching and learning for students in grades 3-12. The initiative will create a school-wide and district-wide digital learning environment, which will integrate STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) in content areas using online collaborative tools, problem based learning and virtual resources. Golden LEAF funds will be used for mobile technology devices, software and professional development.
