| Project Description | This Golden LEAF grant will allow Rockingham Community College to provide training that will meet the documented demand of Miller Brewing and other local industries for skilled workers. The program will create the workforce necessary to ensure the long-term success of these local industries. Golden LEAF funds will primarily be used to purchase equipment for training. |

| Project Title | Hospital-Community-Physician Integration Model for Rural Southeastern North Carolina |
| Grant Amount | $350,000 |
| Project Description | This Golden LEAF grant will assist Southeastern Regional Medical Center with renovation and up-fit costs needed to establish a permanent health clinic in Clarkton (Bladen County). The project is expected to retain nine and create nine new positions in Clarkton, and provide much needed access to health care. |
